About Me

Kelly Williams earned a degree in Fine Art from Edison State in  1995 then went on to study at several of the top jewelry trade schools in the US.  She is the sole proprietor of K. W. Goldsmith, a full service custom trade shop, and Whiplash Designs, a line of western and horse themed jewelry. She is the president and long time board member of the Twin Cities chapter of the Women's Jewelry Association. She is a two time winner of the Bench Pressure Challenge, has won numerous design competitions.  She is also an educator teaching bench tips and techniques at industry events and the Stuller Bench Jeweler Workshops. Her western hand engraving is featured in several galleries throughout the southwest.  More custom work and hand engraving can be viewed at www.whiplashdesigns.com
